I love David’s words “magnify the Lord with me”. I remember Pastor Chuck Smith teaching that we should magnify the Lord every day. In the Psalms (like Psalm 34) you will see that it is biblically correct to bless the Lord.
*A listener comment on this song: “Just want to say thank you for blessing my life with your song ‘Bless the Lord’… I first heard it on KSDW Radio. I can’t explain what joy and warmth fills my heart and spirit every time I hear this song. I can feel the sweet presence of the Lord and Holy Spirit.”
I sought the Lord, He heard me
And delivered me, from my fears
I cried out, He saved me
And delivered me, from my tears
I will bless the Lord, the One who I adore
Come and magnify the Lord with me
I will bless the Lord, the One who saved my soul
Come and magnify the Lord with me
Oh taste and see, the Lord is good
Blessed be the one, who trusts Him
Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints
Blessed be the one, who fears Him
I will exalt Your Name, Jesus
I will exalt Your Name, Jesus
I will exalt Your Name, on high
